Guest Code of Conduct
The Wellness Club LLC
Version: 1
Last Updated: July 24th, 2026
Welcome to The Wellness Club! Our facility is designed to be a communal, friendly, and social space for everyone to relax, reset, and recharge. To ensure a safe, pristine, and welcoming environment for all guests, we require you to read and agree to the following policies before your visit.
1. Personal Responsibility & Unmonitored Facilities
-
Use at Your Own Risk: While The Wellness Club (TWC) staff is always on-site and actively patrolling the facility, please be aware that our hot and cold amenities (saunas and cold plunges) are not continuously monitored or supervised by lifeguards or medical personnel.
-
Self-Monitoring: You are entirely responsible for your own physical safety, health, and well-being while using these features. You are responsible for listening to your body, strictly monitoring your exposure times to extreme temperatures, and staying hydrated. When possible, utilize the buddy system—especially when using the cold plunges.
-
Know When to Exit: Do not attempt to "tough it out" or push past your limits. If you begin to feel dizzy, lightheaded, nauseous, or uncomfortable at any point, you must exit the sauna or cold plunge immediately and seek a more normal environment. If you need assistance, alert a TWC staff member right away.
-
Our staff is here to help. Please ask questions if you have them!
2. The TWC Environment & Etiquette
-
Strictly 18+: TWC enforces a strict 18+ age policy. A valid government-issued ID may be required upon entry.
-
NO PHONES OR CONTENT CREATION: To preserve the sanctuary of TWC, disconnecting from the outside world, and ensure total privacy, guests are not permitted to have phones, cameras, or recording devices in the locker rooms, bathrooms, changing rooms, or the Bath Area. They must remain locked in your locker. No personal vlogging, commercial photography, or social media filming/streaming is permitted anywhere on the premises unless you have the express, prior consent of TWC management (such as invited media or creators).
-
Zero Tolerance for Misconduct: TWC is a non-gender-separated, communal space. We have a zero-tolerance policy for misconduct of any kind—sexual, emotional, verbal, or otherwise. If you engage in harassment, make others uncomfortable, or violate this policy, you will be promptly asked to leave, permanently banned from future use, and your session will not be refunded.
-
Keep it PG (No PDA): We love that you are visiting with friends or significant others, but please remember this is a shared social environment. Out of respect for everyone, heavy Public Displays of Affection (PDA) are not permitted.
-
Read the Room: Please respect the atmosphere of the Bath Area. If the room is quiet and peaceful, please keep conversations to a minimum. If the atmosphere is social, feel free to join in! If someone looks like they are keeping to themselves (e.g., meditating or doing breathwork), let them enjoy their peace.
-
Staff Authority: Our team is here to keep you safe and maintain the vibe. TWC staff has final authority regarding the enforcement of all policies, behavior, and dress code standards.
3. Health, Hygiene & Safety
-
Rinse Before You Soak: You must shower and rinse off thoroughly before entering any cold plunge or sauna. This keeps our facility clean for everyone.
-
The Transition Rinse: Every transition requires a rinse. You must take a quick shower to rinse off sweat after leaving a sauna before entering the cold plunge. Do not bring sauna sweat into the cold water. Warm showers on a 10 second timer are available in the Bath Area.
-
Towels on Benches: For personal hygiene and to protect our custom wood surfaces, you must sit on a towel at all times when using the sauna or the lounge.
-
No DIY Aromatherapy or Climate Tampering: Please do not pour water, essential oils, or any outside substances onto the sauna rocks. This can damage the heating elements and trigger allergic reactions or asthma in other guests. We are a dry sauna for a reason.
-
Health, Sickness & Fresh Ink: Saunas do not "cure" contagious illnesses, but they can spread them. If you are feeling under the weather, please stay home and utilize our cancellation policy. For public health and safety, guests with open wounds, unhealed tattoos, or contagious conditions are not permitted in the water or heat features.
-
No Smoking or Vaping: TWC is an entirely smoke-free and vape-free facility. E-cigarettes and vapes are strictly prohibited in all indoor spaces, locker rooms, and bath areas.
-
No Personal Grooming: Shaving, clipping nails, or applying heavy beauty masks/hair dyes in the cold plunges, showers, saunas, or bathrooms is strictly prohibited.
-
No Intoxication: Mixing intense heat with alcohol or substances is dangerous. If you arrive visibly intoxicated or under the influence, you will be denied entry without a refund.
-
Safety First (No Horseplay): Wet tile is slippery. For your safety, absolutely no running, jumping, diving, or horseplay is permitted anywhere in the facility.
-
Mind Your Jewelry: Remove ANY metal jewelry before entering the sauna, as metal conducts heat quickly and can cause severe burns to your skin. Smartwatches and fitness wearables may also conduct heat quickly. Test them and use them at your own risk.
4. Dress Code & Footwear
-
Family-Appropriate Attire: Assume you are going to the beach with your family. Your attire should not make anyone uncomfortable. Men must, at a minimum, wear swim trunks/shorts with at least a 5” inseam. Women must wear, at a minimum, a family-appropriate two-piece bathing suit. If you do not meet these standards, you will be asked to change.
-
Footwear: Shoes are not required in the changing area or the Bath Area. If you feel more comfortable in footwear, please bring your own clean, indoor-only sandals or flip-flops. Street shoes are strictly prohibited past the locker area. Please be mindful that certain materials on footwear can heat up rapidly in the sauna and cause burns. Test footwear at your own risk.
5. Sharing the Space & Property
-
No-Phone Zone & TWC Marketing Rights: By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that the only people authorized to have a phone or document the facility are TWC staff or individuals with express management consent. You may occasionally see our team capturing content for marketing or operational purposes. Rest assured, guest privacy is our top priority—our team focuses on the architectural space itself, and we will ask permission to use your likeness in marketing materials.
-
Smartwatch Policy: Wearable tech (Apple Watches, Garmin, Oura, etc.) must be placed in "Do Not Disturb" or "Theater Mode" upon entry to eliminate buzzing and bright screen distractions. If your device has video/photo capabilities, it must remain in your locker.
-
Locker Room Etiquette: Be neighborly. Keep your belongings contained entirely within your assigned locker rather than sprawling across benches. Do not camp out at the shared vanities or mirrors, and keep your time in the shared showers mindful so everyone has a turn.
-
No Seat Saving: Communal seating, lounges, and chairs are first-come, first-served. Please do not "reserve" chairs or benches by leaving towels, water bottles, or robes on them while you are away using the facilities. Unattended items will be moved by staff to free up space for others.
-
No Outside Food or Glass: To prevent pests, spills, and severe safety hazards for barefoot guests, outside food is not permitted, and glass containers of any kind are strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises.
-
Lost Items & Linen Liability: TWC is not responsible for lost, neglected, or stolen personal items. Use your locker responsibily––if you are wearing something like jewelry that is valuable to you, it would be best to leave it at home. Unreturned or severely damaged towels will result in a replacement fee charged to your account.
6. Booking, Cancellations & Memberships
-
1-Strike 24-Hour Cancellation Policy: We utilize waitlists, and someone on that list could take your spot if you can't make it. We ask that you be mindful of other guests. However, we know things happen: your first no-show or late cancellation (under 24 hours notice) will not be charged. For all future no-shows or sub-24-hour cancellations, you will be charged the full session rate. Repeat no-shows for cancelled sessions under an unlimited plan will result in your plan being lowered to plan with a set number of visits, or cancelled entirely.
-
Membership Billing: Other than special, discounted promotional plans, all standard membership plans are charged every four weeks. You may cancel your membership at any time.
-
Facility Operations & Amenity Availability: On rare occasions, specific saunas, pools, or steam features may close temporarily for routine maintenance, deep cleaning, or unforeseen repairs. Total or partial refunds will not be issued for temporary individual amenity closures, provided the rest of the facility remains operational.
